Triskeles or triple spiral is composed of three interlocked spirals made of one continuous line without a beginning or end. It evokes the Celtic concept of the domains of material existence-earth, water and sky, and their interrelations. Each aspect ever flowing outward and always returning to the point from which it started. It is an ancient symbol related to the sun, afterlife and reincarnation. As one continuous line, suggesting a continuous movement of time from the beginning of life to reincarnation. It can also represent the Holy Trinity.
